Recreation in the trees

Great place for recreation in the trees.

Written on Tuesday, November 30th, 1999 by Russell

Brisbane with it’s sub tropical climate and abundance of outdoor spaces is a great place for recreation in the trees. Here are some photos from our most recent climbs. All climbers have never tried modern tree climbing before.

Even though we got a bit wet in our second climb a great time was had by all.

Beautiful winter day and one happy canopy explorer!

Koala researcher Sean and Gwen doing their best ‘Koala Grip!’.  Plenty of fun was had by all while brushing up their skills.

Basic Tree Climbing Course
Friends in figs
Pete a student of Tree Climbers is shown above using his footloops to gain a birds eye view. Sometimes the simplest gear is the best.
Modern technical tree climbing gives you the chance to safely explore those trees you previously thought were out of reach. A tree can be your playground or your place for meditation and fortunately in Brisbane we have lots of them. A basic tree climbing course can give you the keys to the playground. If you would like to register your interest  in a course please contact us.

Birthday Climbs and fun climbs

Try something different for your or your child’s Birthday. We’d love to make it unique. You can climb next to your kids or they can show you how its done! Check out some kids having fun  at the Northey St Harvest Festival where we hosted a fun climb!
